Since finishing my studies in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 2010, I have been living abroad. Being a foreigner in foreign places sharpened my senses for the living environment and the relationships with those around me. Trained in the humanities, I pursued different opportunities to get acquainted with the discourse at the intersection of art and urbanism. Through drawing and photography, I sought to satiate my curiosity for the city as an experience of being together.
I recently graduated from the master programme Social Design // Arts as Urban Innovation at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In future projects, I wish to keep dealing with the topics of urban shrinkage in Eastern Europe, culture-led urban regeneration, social transformation and resilient lifestyles, and migration between rural and urban areas.
